HOLLOWAY’S CORNER UNVEILS A FRESH NEW LOOK—AND A NEW CHAPTER

Updated: 4 days ago

For years, HOLLOWAY’S Corner stood quietly in the heart of Lakeview, just one café, run by one family, with one promise: to be a place where people could breathe, reflect, and belong. Originally founded by the Holloway family, the café became a neighborhood staple known for its handwritten menus, thoughtful conversations, and the soft hum of creativity that always seemed to linger in the air.

Now, under the care of Maggie Holloway, who took over the café from her parents and lovingly brought it into a new era, HOLLOWAY’S Corner is expanding for the first time.

The transformation begins with a new interior look: sunlit spaces filled with warm wood tones, soft lighting, cozy booth seating, and minimalist charm. Tall, grid-style windows invite in natural light. Potted plants breathe life into corners. Long tables welcome community connection, while quiet nooks give space to dreamers, writers, and thinkers.

“We wanted a space that felt open and optimistic,” Maggie says. “A place where you can come to write, think, or reconnect with someone important.”

And now, that vision is growing. New locations are opening in Evergreen, Greendale, and Baywood—each one designed to reflect the soul of its surrounding community while staying true to Holloway’s spirit. Expect regionally inspired drink specials, curated book corners filled with local voices, and warm spaces where stories naturally unfold.

Gone are the moss-green walls and heavy brass accents of the past. In their place: light oak wood, clean design, earthy neutrals, and the kind of lighting that invites you to stay awhile.

But the heart of HOLLOWAY’S Corner remains unchanged:

  • Baristas who remember your name

  • Moments that invite reflection

  • And coffee that still tastes like home

With this new chapter, HOLLOWAY’S Corner isn’t just opening more doors—it’s creating more places to pause, connect, and belong. And for Maggie, that’s the real legacy.
